03-03-2021 - Covid-19 and Trial Lessons- UPDATE
Please note that we are in Tier 4 and therefore cannot receive visitors at the moment.
The DfT/CAA have released a proposed timetable for the reopening of General Aviation. They have given an 'earliest' start date of 14 April for Flying Schools.
We will plan for this date but intend to be cautious. We will start taking calls and emails for booking-in trial lessons from the 14 April, but the first flight date will be 1 May. This will provide us with contingency to move to a plan B if the date is moved back.
We stopped the clock on the expiry date of any vouchers that were valid when we closed at the end of March 2020 and we added a further month for the November lockdown. We will now add a further 4 months for the period 1 January to 1 May.
This means e.g. that all vouchers valid when we went into the first lockdown have been extended by 9 months, vouchers purchased at Christmas have been extended by 4 months etc.
When we get to April 14 (unless a further delay is announced), please contact us either by phone (02392 552703) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to book in your lesson. Please allow us time to respond as things are not normal!
It is extremely important that you read our Covid-19 procedures before travelling to the airport - VIEW/DOWNLOAD HERE.
Our Web shop is open again for the purchase of trial lessons.
This information will be updated from time-to-time in line with the changing situation and rules.
In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.
